What people sometimes say
- “I’ve never told anyone this.”
- “My body reacts before I can think.”
- “I don’t remember much of my childhood.”
Developmental, relational and acute trauma, approached with careful pacing, attunement and respect for what a body has had to do to survive. Our orientation is informed by formal training in traumatic stress (The Trauma Center, Brookline) and by the conviction that trauma is also what could not be borne alone, and what can finally be borne together.
We meet in person on Hilliard Street, near Harvard Square, or by video. The first half hour is a free conversation, with no obligation.
