What brings people here

LGBTQ+ lives

love, family and self, on your own terms

What people sometimes say

  • “I don’t want to spend my sessions explaining who I am.”
  • “My family knows, but we never talk about it.”
  • “I’m tired of being the only one like me in the room.”
  • “I want to talk about my life, not defend who I am.”

Being lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, nonbinary or still questioning is not a problem to be solved here. People bring what anyone brings: love, family, work, desire, loss. And sometimes also what it has meant to grow up, come out, or make a life in a world that has not always made room. We listen to all of it, with no agenda for who you should be.

We meet in person on Hilliard Street, near Harvard Square, or by video. The first half hour is a free conversation, with no obligation.
