What brings people here

Life stressors

money, time, and too much at once

What people sometimes say

  • “I lie awake thinking about money.”
  • “There’s no time in my life for me.”
  • “I’m holding everything together, and no one sees it.”

Some pressures are not hidden at all: debt or money worries, long hours, caring for children and ageing parents at the same time, a life with no room left in it. They are real, and they are not only in your head. Therapy cannot pay the bills or add hours to the day, but it can be one hour that is yours, a place to notice what the strain is costing you and to think about what could be arranged differently. If cost is part of the strain, please tell us: reduced fees exist for exactly this.

We meet in person on Hilliard Street, near Harvard Square, or by video. The first half hour is a free conversation, with no obligation.
